Announcement of Passing

With a heavy heart and profound sadness, we share the news that our beloved Lynda passed away at 3:37 AM Singapore time today. Lynda’s journey came to a peaceful close, with her granddaughter Ashley at her side. Her sons, Fred and Carmine, were also present shortly after, providing love and support in her final moments.

Lynda’s final day was spent in the warmth of a private room at the hospital, graciously arranged for her and her family to cherish their last moments together. In these precious hours, she was not only surrounded by her family but also by Flopsy Mopsy, her adored toy poodle, and the compassionate SGH nurses and staff who have been a tremendous support over the past month. Yesterday, she experienced a brief surge of energy, followed by a gentle decline, always encircled by the love of her family and dear ones.

Lynda’s life was a testament to strength, independence, and a boundless spirit. She faced her challenges with bravery and a positive attitude that never waned. Known for her colourful personality, caring nature, and cheeky humour, Lynda’s vibrant spirit and infectious laughter have touched countless lives. She was a beacon of light and love, connecting with and helping many along her journey.

As we mourn the loss of such a remarkable soul, we find comfort in her own words: “Our body is just a vehicle for us while we’re here. It is our soul and our spirit that last forever.” Lynda is now at peace and with the creator.

In the coming days, we will be setting this Facebook page to “In Memorial” status to honour Lynda’s memory and legacy. This will allow friends, family, and those whose lives she touched to continue sharing their memories and tributes.
We invite all who knew and loved Lynda to share their stories and memories here. Each reflection and shared moment is a testament to the incredible impact she had on all of us.

Rest in Peace, dear Lynda. You will forever be in our hearts.
